With an Equal Money System, can I have 2 houses and move around in the world to different locations?
In an equal money system, slavery or seeing someone as less than equal to you is something that will not be tolerated. Therefore, janitors and housemaids will not exist anymore. That means that each individual will take 100% responsibility to clean and perfect their house. Therefore, one will have to choose what type of housing they would like to have: a mansion with 10 swimming pools that will take on enormous amount of energy and time to maintain or a decent sized house that supports a family that can be maintained more easily. Having more than one house would mean that one would be responsible to take care of more than one house. Now, the danger to having another house somewhere else is that unless you go there every month to clean up the house, the house will end up in an unfavorable condition which will affect the neighborhood negatively. Imagine living next to a neighbor that dumps his garbage in his yard and his yard is filled with rodents or animals that carry certain diseases like malaria. That would not be best for all, wouldn’t it?
Another thing to take into consideration is that people want more than one house is for investment purposes. In a system driven by money and profit, it is understandable to want to have lots of property. With an equal money system however, the system is not going to be driven by profit but by what is best for life. And having more than one house may not be a good solution as more resources will be consumed and if everyone has multiple houses then what will happen to all the flora and fauna on this planet? They will have to disappear to support housing and infrastructure.
Therefore the idea of having more than one house may not be a great solution at least to begin with. The equal money system needs to ensure that every single person on this planet gets a decent shelter to live in. That is definitely the initial step. Once that is accomplished, more talks and discussions will follow that will entail how to go about making life more pleasurable and exciting. Then if the idea of having more than one house is what is best for all and is a practical solution in this world, it will be implemented.
